In 2009, Lizzy was no longer able to take care of herself and went to live with her daughter Sherry and George for 9 years. Lizzy was a very lovable person and her door was always open to family and friends. One thing about Lizzy is that she had no filter. She also continued to love to go to Bingo. She loved to watch her Old Western movies and Disney movies, especially La Bamba. She also enjoyed spending her time soaking in the sun, drinking a cold beer or iced tea, and listening to her music – dancing away. Lizzy lost the love of her life on October 31, 1992, but went on enjoying her life with her children and grandchildren. In later years, they enjoyed going to Bingo every night together. Then Lloyd went into business with his brothers ranching and selling cattle.
